Monique Garbowitcz
Sewing provides Monique with joy, and has done so for nearly 50 (yes, 50) years. She has been making quilts for 20 years. It is her passion for quilt making that she shares with her students. She enjoys helping others be more successful with their sewing efforts. She understands that each of us has our own reasons for sewing and has unique sewing goals. Monique focuses on meeting the goals of each class member, and strives to make each class enjoyable, informative, productive, and engaging for everyone. To do this, she limits the size of her classes to a maximum of 10 students. Monique teaches across all skill levels. Her classes include time-saving tips and are technique focused. Look for her paper-piecing, curved piecing, template basics, applique, and decorative stitching classes.

Sarah Klever
Sarah began her love of sewing at age 10 by creating clothes for her Troll dolls and occasionally trying to make something (anything) fit Barbie. Girl Scouts and 4-H helped hone her sewing skills and gave her a life long love of all things fabric. Sarah made the leap from clothing construction to quilting 25 years ago. Sarah takes a more contemporary approach to her quilts. You may find her fresh approach and deviation from the rules and regulations of the quilting "police" just the right fit for you. She provides her students a way to let go of pre-conceived notions of quilting and create a work that is truly their own. Other classes offered by Sarah include purses, bags, totes and an occasional craft projectAmended!! Sarah has been teaching quilting for 5+ years and has worked at the Quilt Tree for over 8 years.
