The Quilt Tree
opened in the summer of 1997 in Anchorage, Alaska. That simple little endeavor has grown into a premier fabric arts store and learning center. Now, here we are celebrating 8 years of service
to the quilters of Alaska.

FOR OUR CUSTOMERS
We offer a wide variety of quilting classes, for those who've never held a rotary cutter to classes designed to guide even experts through some of the more difficult quilting techniques. Of course, what quilting store would be complete without bolts and bolts of fabric!! Our selection of over 5000 includes only the highest quality cotton fabric, specifically design for quilting. The Quilt Tree has one of the largest selections of Batik fabrics in the country. We are especially proud of our extensive Alaskana fabrics, patterns and novelties. We also have a selective assortment of wools, linens,
tapestries and fleece.


BRANCHING OUT - THE YARN BRANCH
In 2004, The Quilt Tree branched out and formed The Yarn Branch, a store within our store. The Yarn Branch offers knitting and crochet classes from beginner to intermediate. OUR NEW LOCATION
In 2002, The Quilt Tree moved to our current location, 341 East Benson Blvd. This new location offered a larger class area, as well as more square footage to showcase our terrific merchandise. With a midtown location, our store is now more readily accessible to everyone in Anchorage. It is particularly easy to find for tourists coming from beautiful Downtown Anchorage.
