Sharon Swieter
Beginner II
$40.00 each
Sharon is expanding her popular Kit and Kaboodle class. She will be offering this class once a month on Fridays. So, bring your unfinished (or not yet started!) kit or Block of the Month and have the time and help to get-r'-done! At this time we are still limiting snacks in the classroom. We are requesting that you do not bring food to share; any food in the classroom should be for personal use only.

In this class you will learn how to make a simple traditional drop shoulder kuspuk (exactly like the one on display) using a shirt as a template. The class will consist of one afternoon for cutting the fabric and a separate weekend class to assemble the kuspuk. For the first class you will need to bring a comfortable shirt or lightweight (unlined) jacket similar in size to the kuspuk you want to make. The shirt/jacket should fit loosely and comfortably and have long sleeves. You will also need your prewashed fabric (not ironed) and fabric scissors. For the weekend class for assembling your kuspuk you will need the cut fabric pieces, trim, and your sewing machine and sewing supplies.
